One of the most innovative new products to hit kiteboarding in years has just been released by the kiteboard department at Naish International.

The GRAV-D1 system splits open in order to allow you to mount the pads and straps directly under your feet. Because of the new insert position, the load transfer goes directly from your feet into the board, much like the technology incorporated by snowboard bindings, to give you a closer feel to the board. The webbing of the strap wraps completely around your foot and pad, offering the cleanest looking, most comfortable fit possible.

Looking more like a new pair of skate shoes than footstraps, the GRAV-D1 system will be one of the most talked about inventions of the next year. Setting up your board has never been easier as there is no more folding of the straps to line up the screw with the insert, just open the footstrap and screw it down!
