Anne began her quest to be the first person to cross the Atlantic on a specially crafted skiff with nothing but kite power on the 19^th of June 2006! She is attempting this solo crossing with the goal of completing the journey in less than 5 weeks.

 In 2002, Anne became the fastest female ever to cross the Atlantic by rowing a skiff by herself. She made the Southern route in just 56 days. Later in 2004, she took the Northern route that took her a tough 87 days and established herself as the only female in the world to solo cross the Atlantic in both directions. But now she looks for a new crossing challenge! Anne chose the reliability and durability of the Naish Boxer for her long crossing.
